# Strix Points

Earn Strix Points for trading and being active on the platform.

Strix Points reward the people who make Strix Lab a great place to trade — active traders and liquidity providers. Points track your contribution over time and feed the leaderboard.

**What Points are — and aren't.** The Strix Points program is rolling out in phases. Exact earn rates, multipliers, and any future benefits tied to Points will be announced in-app and on this page as they go live. **Nothing on this page is a promise of a specific reward, benefit, or future value.** Points recognize participation — trade because you have a view, not to farm points.

### How you earn

### The leaderboard

Points accumulate and are ranked on a leaderboard, so you can see how you stack up against other traders. Standings update on a regular cycle.

### Tips to earn more

* **Trade the markets you know.** Consistent, informed participation compounds over time — points follow good trading, not the other way around.
* **Rest limit orders instead of only taking the market.** You pay [no fees as a maker](https://docs.strixlab.io/trading/fees) and earn liquidity points on top.
* **Invite friends** with your [referral link](https://docs.strixlab.io/rewards/referrals).
