# Refer & Earn

Invite friends to Strix Lab and get rewarded when they sign up and start trading. **Referral rewards are earned as** [**Strix Points**](https://docs.strixlab.io/rewards/strix-points) — they build your standing in the Points program alongside your trading and liquidity activity.

{% hint style="info" %}
Exact reward amounts and any qualifying conditions are shown in-app and may evolve as the program grows — **this page describes how the program works, not a promise of a specific reward.**
{% endhint %}

### How it works

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Get your referral link

Find your unique link in the app's **Refer & Earn** section.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Share it

Send your link to friends. When someone signs up through it, they're connected to you as your referral.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Earn as they trade

Once your referrals are active, you earn Points tied to their participation. Track your referrals and earnings in the Refer & Earn dashboard.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Early supporters & the waitlist

If you joined the waitlist, you can verify your waitlist email to claim **early-supporter status**. Referrals you made during the waitlist period can carry over and count as verified referrals on the platform, feeding into your rewards.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Referrals must be **genuine new users**. Self-referrals and abuse — fake accounts, or circular trading between accounts you control to simulate activity — are not eligible and may forfeit rewards.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.strixlab.io/rewards/referrals.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
